The San Gabriel Walkover is OPEN!
12/4/2016 - Thanks to the quick work of the HDOA, with the help of the Dune Restoration team, beach access is now available from the Comfort Station at the north end of Lake San Gabriel. Restoration work on the remaining community walkovers will now follow. Please remember that crossing the dune in an area that has not been stabilized and restored can be harmful to the dune and unsafe for passage.
For now, enjoy the beach from the Comfort Station at San Gabriel.
